RIOJA CRIANZA

• Vineyard name: Los Monjes, Las Llanas
• Vineyard age: 40 years
• Barrels: 14 months in new French oak barrels.
• Vineyard: Single vineyard in LA Puebla de Labarca (Rioja Alavesa) at an altitude of 550 meters on a sloping hillside. Sandy loam in texture and clayey limestone in composition. Highly organic but poor subsoil, with different layers of white limestone.
• Land: Calcareous clay and sandstone
• Tasting Notes: Red Cherry color. In the nose has a fine complexity, with tones of mature fruit, especially prune, currant, in harmony with the tones of good woods, spices, pastry shop and a fund of licorice. In mouth presents a great equilibrium, with a happy, fond of sweets, and tasty step by the maturity of its tannins.
